• Oh fuck yeah. This is fantastic news. And we get amnesia fortnight back in the mix. Great news all around.

    • Oh, fk yeah. I can’t wait to boot up a few battle royale rounds as Daniel. If they make Agrippa playable, it’d be fun to see him do the default dance. /s

I hope they remaster psychonauts 1, i went back recently and i do not have a good time making it work, and then i have to rebind it to my controller, and some menu just doesn’t work well with the rebinded key.

    • The PC one is hell to get working with a controller on Steam Deck. I followed a guide, got it all set up, it worked, then it suddenly reverted. I uninstalled. They should absolutely release a version that’s designed to play well with controllers.

Yeah, i have to do a lot of tweaks on the compatibility and key binding just to make it functional, then got to the milkman conspiracy, decided i had enough of it.

The PC version was always ass. I think I ended up playing it via back compatibility on the 360…

I think i played with m+kb last time since the whole port is design with that in mind, can’t remember the experience, but i guess it’s serviceable since i finished it.

That’s nice at least, Double Fine are one of those devs that have just been doing their own thing for a while now.

They’re never going to make the next Fortnite, but on the bright side they’re never going to make the next Fortnite.

  • I went back to Psychonauts two when I heard the rumors stirring that Microsoft was gonna can the studio; I’m glad I did. I bounced off of it for some reason a while back but after coming back I ended up 100% it. If they put it out on switch I’ll probably buy it again

  • At least Double Fine owns the rights to their games. Who knows what Micro$oft has done to the studios they bought and gutted.

  • I recently bought Brutal Legend and both Psychonauts games because they are great games. Would give Kiln a shake if I was keen on online multiplayer games.

    • The devs recently came back to play the online multiplayer to help players get a difficult achievement.

  • Hell yes. Now I’m debating buying each one again on steam.

I bought Psychonauts 2 on Xbox/PC when it first came out and they were still under Microsoft. And I’ve bought the first game plenty of times already so I honestly have no issue doing so again. And now it seems like an especially good time to get into their other games like Kiln and Keeper.

  • Neato. I have the first one, and finally got it working with a controller. I had to rebind all the controller buttons to keyboard buttons, but the control sticks work fine, and that was the most critical part of it.
