    If you’re making minimum wage in the US you can’t even afford to exist, let alone have a subscription service of any kind.

      That’s a misleading figure. $2.13 is the federal minimum cash wage for tipped employees, but if wage + tips does not meet the $7.25 minimum wage then the employer must cover the difference.

      Note that this is also just the federal baseline, and many states have different laws.
