Most likely prefabs on land you dont own. Houses really arent expensive. Land is expensive.
What is the difference between a haunted house and having roomates?
My last roommate injected three or four marijuana a day, and it had a mildly unpleasant smell sometimes.
If rent costs half because it is haunted, then it costs the same as having a roommate. not much difference

I was working construction one winter and living in a house with four other guys. One of the roommates, without asking the rest of us, invited a friend of his to stay in our large walk-in closet. It was supposed to be just for a few days, but he ended up living there for months without paying any rent. One day I came home after work freezing cold and completely covered in mud, and this dude was sitting on the couch in a bathrobe watching TV. I heard the water running upstairs and asked him who was in the shower. He said “Bobby. And I’m next.”
He was not next. He moved out that night.

In my neighborhood, it doesn’t matter if the house is haunted or if a horrific crime occurred there. As long as it has walls and a roof it’s a million dollars. (Walls and roof not required)

Not even just the lot rent. Eventually some pin-dicked investor type is going to buy the place, jack up the rents and kick everybody out. Good luck moving your “mobile” home.

There are some mobile home retailers that will sell you a “land-home package”. So you can have a new house on a couple of acres. I almost did that.
