How did they not see that coming? AI could have been a handy tool as a wingman handling small, repetitive tasks. Instead we get a giant mess that expensive and not terribly useful. To me it’s like EVs. Which would have been great second around town cars until the infrastructure could catch up.
I like F-Droid. Started using Bura for weather and it’s nice having a weather app that’s not trying to track your location.

Spent the last couple weeks moving my stuff off Chrome. Not convenient but well worth the effort. If you’re not on Chrome they’re doing us a favor. Sites will be less likely to target ad blockers if the majority of users don’t have them installed.
