Buy the larger drive, saw it in half and use the two halfs in RAID 1.

My wife is slowly getting used to Jellyfin. We’ve already cancelled Amazon. More to follow.

Has science gone too far?

An old man lying on the beach with huge ass yellow blisters on his back from the sun.
Now that I think about it I don’t remember him moving.

Look for the early announcement videos. Someone tore one appart there. Might even have been LTT. If I recall correctly you have to remove the heatsink to access the RAM.
But what if you want intelligent videos that scratch the surface early on and go into details at your leisure?

I wish they could scale up massively. They still seem to operate under the assumption that they’re a small player. Though according to one interview (I think with Tested) they couldn’t even source the numbers of memory they wanted. On top of the horrendous price.
Reminds me of the time an earthquake (?) destroyed an HDD factory and I have been waiting ever since for them to get on the same price trajectory as they had been back then. I’m still waiting.

I was hoping for a miracle that I could recommend it to a friend’s son as a good entry into PC gaming. But they’re on a tight budget and I guess they could do better for the same money.

I think he got that from Gamer’s Nexus. But that is when you use similar components. You can also easily find components for the same price that are better. Especially when you use the 2 TB model as your base.
But you won’t get CEC or the integrated Steam Controller dongle of course.
Still, while it’s not a great price it isn’t a bad price either.
I don’t, I have mine. But other people might be desperate enough to follow this completely serious shower thought.
But to be really serious, I’ve come to rely on the Steam Controller heavily as an accessibility tool to use my computer. It has significantly increased my quality of life.
Well, the browser could choose not to download the images, videos and styling information. Trouble is that many modern sites load their content through JavaScript programs that can be comparatively massive.
But I guess losing those sites would be a small price to pay for OP.
Just loading the text should be really small, especially when it is compressed, which should be the standard nowadays.
If the Steam Machine is bundled with a Steam Controller then the fastest way to get a Steam Controller in the next few days/weeks/wheneverit’sreleased will be to buy a Steam Machine bundle and sell the Machine on Ebay.
That’s probably light enough to run on the Steam Frame directly. Can’t wait.

I just love how YouTube has a “show unwatched” button in its search that usually shows me videos I have watched multiple times.

Not super much destructible environment, but enough to satisfy most chaos gremlins, can be found in Goat Simulator.

If I know anything about stories then she will probably get the opportunity to come back to life by the end or at least converse with the living world. That could set up the next game with all of them together in some way. Maybe with the grown up Boy as the main character.
Opensuse sorts the nvidia drivers into generations to solve this problem. For your hardware that would be G05 or G06 I think. They also use DKMS to compile them for newer kernels.
